Kitty and Vibe

I was so glad to be a textile design intern for Kitty and Vibe. This “Carolina” vibe was hand drawn and edited with photoshop and illustrator to create a smooth flowing and authentic pattern. I took inspiration from the traditional French toile for my layout and motifs, while adding my own modern twist.

We wanted to have a fresh feel of California and the beach, while staying true to the elements found in “toile de jou” patterns. There is that fine line etching effect that you see in toiles, but it comes to life by adding a whimsical and fresh take on the images we would see today.

Marble

I designed this seamless marble design for Kitty and Vibe. When I worked on this print my main focus was on market research within color to create the a trending style and color combination that would be suited to all body colors and types. I used both Illustrator and Photoshop to achieve this design.
